Megan Hamilton is a producer/vocalist out of Minneapolis. After several years in the twin cities’ music scene, Hamilton has branded a sound similar to no other in US. As Ghetto Funk’s official US ambassador and resident producer/DJ, she drives a European sound inspired from glitch hop, old school samples, and funk.
Her roots in playing several different instruments, from a very young age, have molded her onstage performance; which now showcases The Bermudas, a live addition featuring 4 others, wielding guitar, tenor sax, drums, trumpet, melodica, keys, clav, and more, Hamilton has pioneered an exclusive experience, melding the endless possibilities of the digital age, with the organic improvisation of a live band. Not only does she excel in a live atmosphere, but also in the studio. Featured on mixes by Benny Benassi, Sick Individuals, Ghastly, Dr. Fresch, and Aaron Jackson, she has proven her ability to stay relevent ever since her first release with Vous Records. With her forthcoming releases with Ghetto Funk and Night Bass, Hamilton is definitely a new artist worth checking out.
Beak Nasty (Ryland Sabien) is a multi-instrumentalist/producer & DJ that combines the sounds of hip hop and intense bass lines to create futuristic chill funk/electro soul music. When he moved out of his small Wisconsin hometown at age 16, he immediately got involved with the Minneapolis hip hop scene by producing and DJing for Kids Like Us, Allan Kingdom, as well as many others. At age 17, he began attending McNally Smith College of Music and performed on nearly every stage in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area whether it be DJing for emcees or doing his own thing entirely. He quickly rose up the ranks in the local scene, and it was not long until he began working full time on his solo career and has been steadily releasing music since. Shorty after the release of his third album "Chill Funk Files Vol. 1" in July 2013, Beak Nasty combined forces with Florida percussionist Foxy Dope (Phil Ade). Together they have gotten booked all over the midwest from small venues to large festivals, and with new music on the way things will only get funkier.
"From the moment I went to my first rock show in 6th grade, I knew that I needed to find a way to get myself on that stage someday. Since then, I've done everything in my power to make that dream a reality and simply through the experiences I've gained and the people I've met it's been completely worth it. Life is short and if you don't take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself, someone else will."
Nick Ostrander is an upcoming DJ and Producer from Apple Valley, Minnesota.
"I fell in love with EDM at the age of 16 and developed a huge passion for this music, so I decided to pursue it my freshman year of College. The genres I try to stick to are mainly trap and twerk, but I like to work with a little bit of everything. I have shown support for DJ SOLO, Vaski, Branchez, and Zeds Dead."
It wasn't until recently I became interested in discovering a talent in visual art. I would always doodle, draw on a sheet of paper and put it off to the side, until my junior year of High School, I enrolled in a special art school called Gallery 37 in 2010. There, I learned how to use mediums other than a pencil, I completed my first real acrylic painting, and that is when I became inspired to take my own path with paint. I have been painting steadily for 4 years now and I am honing my skills. I love to paint surreal landscapes, or environments as well as animals that you wouldn't naturally find. I do this by using bright fluorescent colors (perfect with acrylics) and the contrast of the colors between each other. I have taken a turn into digital painting and vector drawing as well. I try to spend an equal amount of time painting analogously and digitally.
Painting is the optimal way to express my imagination. I always found it easier to visually represent my mental state as opposed to a verbal or written approach. It's my mission to share my art as much as possible with anyone and everyone, because I believe that this is the age for sharing, and I believe art should be shared as much as possible.Art By Alec on Facebook

"I'm not your average every day run of the mill fighter, and I love to live on the edge. When someone tells me I can't do it or that I will fail in the attempt I try that much harder to prove them wrong. ReThink your Reality, and make yourself what you want to be, which is what I strive for every day."
